The service
MyKatib is a managed private digital-assistant service. The basic plan covers one principal, one named delegate, a dedicated client environment, a dedicated assistant number, managed maintenance, and the capabilities agreed during onboarding.
Fees
The managed cloud service is 200 OMR per month, excluding VAT where applicable, and includes a 40 OMR AI fair-use allowance. A private Mac mini implementation is 5,000 OMR under a signed scope covering the agreed hardware, installation, hardening, integrations, and acceptance tests. Specialist hardware, third-party subscriptions, and ongoing work outside that scope are agreed before commitment. If AI usage approaches the monthly limit, service is reduced or paused before any upgrade is agreed. We do not apply surprise overage charges.
Your approval matters
On the basic service, MyKatib may prepare drafts but must not send third-party email or messages without explicit per-item approval. The client remains responsible for decisions, instructions, and the final content they approve.
Not professional advice
The assistant does not replace legal, financial, medical, investment, or other licensed professional advice. Material decisions require human review.
Accounts and access
The client must provide lawful access, keep recovery methods current, and identify authorized phone numbers. We may suspend access to protect the client, the service, or third parties from suspected compromise or misuse.
Payment
Tap Payments processes checkout. A payment is complete only when verified by Tap and recorded by MyKatib. Recurring card charges are not activated until the client has agreed to the final contract and Tap has enabled the merchant capability.
Termination
The signed agreement defines notice, refunds, exported data, and deletion. The operating target is to wipe the client instance and backups within seven days of effective termination and confirm completion in writing.
